Carved Gate Bed & Breakfast, Transylvania

Carved Gate Bed & Breakfast

Please let us welcome you to the heart of Transylvania, in our quaint little Sekler village Bögöz (Mugeni). To the land where the St. László legend takes place, the legend of the famous 13th century Hungarian king. From here you can participate in the Hungarian world’s largest pilgrimage, to Csíksomlyó, that originated in the year 1567 and is one of the staples of the Seklers’ national pride, as well to our “sacred” mountain, Hargita pike. You can stay in our tastefully retrofitted barn, in old beds filled with straw or a Bread and Breakfast citing the past, and of course taste and never forget Irénke’s homemade traditional Transylvanian offerings. You are always welcome to the Carvedgate Guesthouse! Irénke and doughter, Éva
